Our Story

A little business with a big dream

As age caught up with us, we scaled back to our one location here in Dyersburg. Thank you to everyone who helped this small business grow, in Missouri and in Tennessee.

Our showroom in Dyersburg
  1. The beginning

A farm shop in Bragg City, Missouri

Our owner and grandfather Everett Marchbanks had a dream: take new but damaged furniture, repair it and sell it out of a small farm shop on the family farm in Bragg City. It started as a once-a-month sale.

  2. Growing

    Shops in Hayti and beyond

The once-a-month sale grew into a full-time business, with a shop in Hayti, Missouri and, at one time, six locations up and running.

  3. 2018

On the town square in Kennett

Square Furniture comes to the town square in Kennett, Missouri, with gifts, bridal registries and Christmas open houses alongside the furniture.

  4. September 2020

    Dyersburg, here we come

Our grand opening in the Green Village Shopping Center on the Highway 51 Bypass in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

  5. August 2021

    One store, fully stocked

With shipping and production delays, we could not keep both stores stocked to their full potential, so we said goodbye to Kennett and brought everything to Dyersburg.

  6. Today

    Ever-changing in Dyersburg

One showroom, new arrivals all the time, market samples, warehouse sales and free delivery.
